In Romania, around 35,000 people live with some form of muscular dystrophy.

For many of them, a trip to the GP, to hospital, to the shops or even a simple outing into town can become a real challenge.

Many have never seen the sea. Many have never been to the mountains. They have never been to the cinema, a theatre, the zoo or, quite simply, a shopping centre.

Not because they wouldn’t like to. But because they haven’t had the chance to go there.

We want to change that.

We’re raising funds to find a specially adapted minibus that will offer people with muscular dystrophy the chance to get about more easily, more safely and, above all, with greater independence.
