Rebuilding the Social Fabric with Collective Abundance: Resource Climate Justice in Southern & Eastern Europe

Since 2023, Collective Abundance has been deep and intentional about one thing: resourcing the social fabric of a decolonial, diverse climate justice movement where it is needed most.

True systemic change doesn't happen through isolated, short-term projects. It grows when grassroots organizers have the long-term relational infrastructure, trust, and material security they need to collaborate across borders. This Summer, for the first time, we are stepping out publicly to call on our broader social justice community, climate movement allies, and the philanthropic sector to help us anchor our next chapter. We are raising €100,000 to fully resource our 2026 commitments and build long-term stability for our growing network.

Why This Campaign Matters Now

The current funding landscape is too often transactional, extractive, and unpredictable—especially for front-line communities facing political volatility in Eastern and Southern Europe. Collective Abundance offers an alternative. Our participatory grantmaking model shifts power back to the organizers who live and breathe this work. Over the last three years, we have focused on building deep alignment, safety, and mutual power among grassroots groups. By centering trust over bureaucracy, we ensure that resources multiply where they can do the most good.

Where Your Money Goes

Every euro raised during this round of the Rebuilding the Social Fabric Campaign directly sustains our regional ecosystem. Fundraising Goal: €100,000 in support of coalitions in Spain, Poland, and Greece.Your donations will allow us to:

• Provide €30K in direct grants to three new groups nominated to join the Polish Coalition.
• Put €20K in our Circular Contribution Fund, which provides micro-loans to movement partners in order to help them meet emergent needs.
• Allocate €50K toward operational support, including strengthening our communications and documenting our processes towards learning initiatives.
