A little less than a year ago, I started studying music production.

Without the money for a license, I downloaded a pirated Ableton. To install it, I had to – as usual – disable my antivirus.

Guess where this leads?

I woke up this morning without Facebook, Instagram, cryptocurrencies (around 30 euros gone), and I barely managed to save Gmail and Coinbase. Ableton – nowhere.

Now I want to do it all the right way. Fairly, legally and with a focus on music.

I've already gathered a lot of the equipment – speakers, a MIDI keyboard, two Volca synthesizers (Bass and Drum), one extra I borrowed, and controllers.

In order to complete my setup and continue learning and creating - with the support and knowledge of Emir Čehaić, Filip Bifel and Davor Tošović - I still need:

🎛️ Behringer UMC404HD sound card

💻 Ableton Live Standard

My priority is Ableton and a sound card – I can start working with them right away.

Back in the fall, before I started putting together a setup and learning music, I bought tickets to almost all of the major festivals this summer.

But realistically – the chances of me going to them are slim.

And honestly – if I manage to put this setup together, it won't matter to me. I'd rather stay home and make music.

I have rounded up the target amount for the campaign slightly. If more than needed is raised, the excess will be donated to the survivors and families of those killed in the Nova Festival massacre in Israel on October 7, 2023.
