I never thought I’d have to launch a fundraising campaign, yet I’ve reached the point where I can no longer cope with my situation on my own.

Over the past few years, I have had to cope with serious spinal problems, which have led to several operations, a long period of rehabilitation and an ongoing battle with my health. During my treatment and recovery, I gradually lost my job and the security of my livelihood. Although I did everything I could to stay afloat, the loss of income forced me to accumulate loans and debts.

Today, I am not only fighting for my health, but also to ensure I do not lose everything I have built up over the course of my life.

The hardest part isn’t even the physical pain, but the feeling of hopelessness. It’s that feeling of wondering, day in, day out, how you’re going to pay the next bill, how you’re going to settle your debts, and how you can start your life over again, all whilst fighting to regain your own health.

I often feel as though I’ve been left alone to bear this burden. I’m doing everything in my power to get back to work and stand on my own two feet, but at the moment I’m weighed down by a debt burden that I can no longer manage on my own.

That is why I am now asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings me closer to settling some of my accumulated debts, stabilising my life, and focusing on my recovery and making a fresh start.
