Support the solo exhibition of Hungarian photographer and visual artist Sabrina Komár!

WHY?

Sabrina Komár is the only Hungarian photographer to be a finalist in the prestigious LensCulture annual Art Photography Awards 2024 with her series exploring the nature of good and bad memories.

This year, Sabrina has been given the opportunity to showcase her photography, which has been highly acclaimed internationally: in October, her "...but so many good things happened to you!" will be on display in a gallery in Budapest for a contemporary photography audience.

The series reflects on the nature of childhood and adult memories, and explores why we remember the good ones less than the bad ones. The unique, three-dimensional photographs show both the objective past and the impressions of subjective memory.

Despite international acclaim, the exhibition has not received any support in this country, although the plans have been ready for months and the unique, costly frames are still being produced to present the series.

HOW?

Support the realisation of Sabrina Komár's solo exhibition, any amount of support would be greatly appreciated, if:

--> you donate at least 15 000 Ft (39 EUR), you will be rewarded with a limited edition, individually signed, numbered, A/4 size, printed on Hahnemühle archival paper (3 to choose from)

If you would like to support the artist by purchasing an artwork, you can also choose from his existing unique artworks (photographic works and tapestries/carpets) by contacting the artist directly.

For example, one of Hypnopompia's kilim carpet collections was shown in Berlin this year as part of Berlin Design Week, and the same carpet is currently on display at the Ludwig Museum in Budapest.
