My name is Pavlína and I am the mother of Maruška, who died on 5 January 2026 whilst in hospital under unclear circumstances.

The case is complex and, as a layperson, I do not know how to proceed and manage everything so that it is fair and makes sense.

I have reached out to you, the donors, because without a solicitor I cannot ensure an objective assessment of the medical reports and the correct official procedure. Maruška was a kind, gentle, selfless and loving daughter.

As her mother, I feel a duty to clarify the unanswered questions that give me no peace. Your donations will be used exclusively to hire a medical lawyer who has experience in dealing with authorities and courts, understands medical terminology, and knows what questions to ask based on the medical reports.

I do not wish to accuse anyone without evidence, but should any misconduct be proven, someone must be held properly accountable. I am also fighting to ensure that this does not happen to any other mother or family.

My sorrow, grief and mourning over my daughter’s death are so great that nothing can express it; her loss is immeasurable to me. As a layperson, I am at a loss and cannot afford to pay for a lawyer myself.

My last savings were spent on the funeral.
