My name is Constantin Maria Ioana and I am a competitive skier, a passion that fulfils me and has taught me the true meaning of dedication, sacrifice and the power of dreams. Recently, however, I have faced financial difficulties that threaten not only my sporting career, but also my dream of representing Romania on the biggest international stages.

Although my off-season training is almost complete, I do not have the necessary resources to take part in on-snow training. Major competitions, such as this season’s World Championships, represent a vital opportunity for me. I dream of qualifying for another edition of the Winter Olympics, namely the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, not just for myself, but for everyone who believes in the power of hard work and perseverance to turn dreams into reality.

I want to be an inspiration to young skiers in Romania, to show them that, regardless of the obstacles, with hard work and determination, we can reach extraordinary heights. Alpine skiing, although the third most popular sport, needs support to realise its true potential. This discipline not only offers us thrills on the slopes, but also opportunities for economic development through tourism and commercial activity.

My training regime is intense: 10 sessions a week, 500 sessions a year. This effort comes with sacrifices, but every drop of sweat brings me closer to my dream. Now, more than ever, I need your support. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference and help me continue the fight to fulfil my dreams.
