My name is Martin, I am 43 and I come from Austria. I have been a single father of 2 girls Sara 13 years Jana 11 years for 8 years.

Last June I had an accident at work, 2 tonnes of a roof construction crushed my foot. The insurance company paid a part but also found reasons not to pay the full amount. Healing was/is problematic.

The costs for specialised treatments (sound wave therapy, movement therapy, physiotherapy, etc.) shot through the roof and have not yet led to the desired result; the fracture in my shin has not yet healed.

I pursued professional activities as best I could in order to be able to offer my children a life/school/roof over their heads. As a result, the metal in my foot has started to bend.

As the whole thing is now very painful, this also affects my ability to continue working.

The foot has to be operated on again.

The insurance company will not support me as I have not kept to the 8 month recovery period, but I could not do this for financial reasons.

I now need these 15,000 euros for the operation and to be able to return to normal life.
