Moving out to Canada

Who, why and for what reason?

My name is Castiel (Unfortunately, this is not my legal name) and I am a person without a permanent job or income, I earn extra money working on construction sites and on similar jobs. I am asking for your help in moving abroad and where I will seek likely safer life there.

The system and the labor market in my country (Poland) had proven to me more than once that it does not work as it should. I do not qualify as a person for any kind of insurance, allowances or benefits, due to the lack of a long enough period of work on a contract of employment, in terms of recruitment I am often refused due to the lack of a driver's license, experience and because of living in a village completely excluded in terms of public transportation.

I am a nonbinary person, (pronouns it/its/they/them & gender neutral; queerphobia, internalized queerphobia and gatekeeping is not welcome here) who, like one in three queer people in Poland, does not see a future here.

I do not see a future in this country mainly because of mentioned problems with finding a job and with the quality of and access to HRT and the processes associated with it, and sadly worrying political course of this country, following the steps of the United States and Project 2025.

Where and why?

The country I have chosen to move to is Canada, which is a kind of stereotypical choice, it is because of the recognition of nonbinary people, quality of life and more favorable immigration policy than other countries I've considered. Another positive feature I've taken into account is that, Canada is a favorable and supportive country for queer people that also respect and fully recognize the nonbinary people, the quality and availability of HRT services there are at professional level.

The total goal is 15 000 PLN (~3500 EUR or 5750 CAD), unfortunately I am not able to raise such an amount on my own, so I will be lifelong grateful to each person who will donate to my fundraiser❤️
