We are a young couple moving from Győr to Budapest, when we saw a job opportunity on the internet and applied for it! We got the job, but there were some problems! We were almost not paid, and they claimed that they rented us an apartment and we would get a big advance in May, which we finally did, but they asked for it back in cash. They said the deposit was our April payment, so we left them there. Tomorrow i.e. 23.05.2025 is the 10th working day after termination of employment but we have not received any exit papers or exit pay.

Our lease was terribly misinterpreted by someone, so now we are in a huge mess.

We could be out on the street any minute with two kittens of about 10-12 weeks old! The landlord claims that there has been a delay in payment and that we have now paid the April rent, which we put down when we moved in, along with the two months deposit.
