I am raising funds to add a voice-over to the Polish translations of the Bible in HiperBiblia, so that users can not only read the text but also listen to it.

The first stage is the Poznań Bible — a translation for which HiperBiblia users are already showing interest in an audio version. I will produce the audio using Google’s text-to-speech technology.

The current fundraising target is 60 euros. My rough estimate of the cost of producing the audio version of the Poznań Bible, taking into account Google’s current promotion, is 70 euros, and 50 zł (approx. 11 euros) has already been donated outside the fundraiser via PayPal.

The Google promotion runs until the end of the year, which is why the fundraiser ends on 15 December — to ensure the recording is completed in time. If the pricing terms change, I will update the target and explain the change.

This fundraising campaign will also be used to fund a narrator for future Polish translations. I will announce the next stages and their estimated costs here, taking into account user interest. Any funds remaining after the completion of the first stage will be allocated to further translations.

I will provide updates on the progress and how the funds raised are being used.

Thank you for every donation and for sharing!
