Hi everyone, I live in Hungary and I’m single. I’m 50 years old and, unfortunately, I haven’t had a place to live for several years now. I’ve travelled abroad to work and taken on jobs that provided accommodation, and I’ve also taken on jobs here in Hungary where accommodation was provided. I also took on jobs abroad so that I could get myself back on my feet and at least buy a cheaper flat, but unfortunately these plans didn’t work out. I’m also in a relationship that’s been going on for over four years; we managed to live together for a few months, but there was a mortgage on their house and it was repossessed, so my mother, her daughter and I ended up separated because of this. We’re all struggling, but without a place to live, there’s practically nothing: they can’t take on work if they have nowhere to commute from, and they can’t see a doctor because they aren’t registered, and without a registered address, unfortunately, there’s no way to sort out many official matters, like ID cards and so on... I’d like to raise money for a flat to rent, or better still, to buy our own home, and I’m not just thinking of myself, although sadly our relationship has broken down – the many difficulties have driven us apart – but with this fundraising, I’d like to help them too, so that they can have a place – a small flat or house and a roof over their heads – and so that life can be a little better, and so that we can have a registered address and somewhere to go to the doctor; we’re asking for the chance of a slightly better, more organised life to start afresh.

I am confident that there are kind, understanding and helpful people out there who will contribute to helping these three people, even with a small donation.
