My name is Sándor Kecskés; I am now 41 years old and was born with a serious genetic condition. I have SMA type 3 and live in a small village in Hungary called Völcsej. My life has been quite difficult; I have spent my whole life in a wheelchair, and I am supported by my father, who has been raising me on his own since I was four years old. Unfortunately, my mother died when I was a child. I have lived with my dad ever since, and I am dependent on his help, even though he is now retired.

I am a die-hard AS Roma fan.

It will be 10 years this year since I saw my beloved team; I travelled to Rome for a match.

The charm of the city and the atmosphere of the match evoked indescribable feelings in me! It was true love at first sight!

I would very much like to return once more in early autumn 2025, whilst my health permits, because SMA involves a continuous deterioration in my condition; for me, there is no possibility of recovery… This is my bucket list.

As I cannot fly due to my condition, only road travel is an option; the cost of this and accommodation would be a substantial sum, which I cannot raise on my own, even though I work from home – that is only enough to cover our daily expenses.

I am looking for supporters and would like to ask for your help so that I can go back to Rome with my dad one more time in my life and experience the magic of the Stadio Olimpico.
