Every day, small animal shelters are fighting for life - not for their own, but for those who have been abandoned, hurt or simply forgotten by others. Every dog and kitten at the shelter is the hero of a broken story, and we do everything we can to give them a new chance.

But it's getting harder.

Food prices are rising by the day, and medical bills have long been beyond our means. In many cases, life-saving interventions are needed - vaccinations, medicines, surgeries - and every day we have to make decisions: which little life can we save today?

It's heartbreaking to say no to a sick animal just because we can no longer afford to pay for veterinary costs. We can't always buy enough food, we can't always hire everyone, and the plea for help is constant.
