Description
Our dear donors,
Today we write you the story of Constantin Iuteș, a strong and optimistic man who needs our support to improve his quality of life.
Constantin was born on 13 March 1971 and since childhood he was diagnosed with progressive Becker's muscular dystrophy, a disease that affected his mobility. From the age of 6, the disease began to progress and by the age of 41 he was wheelchair-bound.
Constantin's life has been marked by hardship. He was widowed in 2007, and since 2020 he has had a personal assistant to help with his daily care. He lives alone and enjoys the support of his personal assistant during the day, who is paid by the state.
However, Constantin needs our help to secure a decent living and a more independent life. He urgently needs to renovate his home, especially his bathroom and kitchen, to adapt them to his special needs. A hygienic and functional space would make his daily life much easier.
Constantin is also in desperate need of a new, powerful and safe electric scooter. His current scooter is old and not working properly, drastically limiting his mobility. A new electric scooter would help him easily get around the village, to the state and private institutions he needs, as well as to the headquarters of the association of people with disabilities "Viitorul", where he works as an executive counsellor. His involvement in this association is vital for him, giving him a sense of belonging and usefulness.
Let's give Constantin the chance of a better life! Any amount, however small, can make a huge difference. Together, we can turn Constantin's story from an ongoing struggle into a story of hope and dignity.
Donate today and help Constantin have a decent living and a more independent life!
Thank you for your generosity!
