[REMEMBER THIS IS A SURPRISE!]

Dear friends and family,

As Ermias’ birthday approaches, I’ve been thinking about how to make it extra special. He is in fact turning 32, but see this is as a late 30th birthday celebration. And if you know Ermias, you KNOW just how much he loves music. For as long as I know him (and probably even longer than that), he has dreamed of owning a Yamaha CLP-775 piano (which now has gotten an upgrade - the CLP-875).

Now, you might be wondering, why this piano? Well, ever since Ermias discovered his love for music, he’s been dreaming of having a piano that could make even Beethoven jealous. He’s spent countless hours playing on keyboards that almost hit the right notes—but it’s time to turn that almost into a perfect.

The Yamaha CLP-875 is no ordinary piano. It’s the Ferrari of pianos, the Ducati of musical instruments, the... okay, you get the idea. It’s the kind of piano that makes you feel like a concert pianist, even if it’s your first time seeing the keys. 🎹

This year, as a very late 30th birthday gift, I would love to give him that dream. But as much as I’d like to surprise him all on my own, this beauty is a bit of a splurge (and by "a bit," I mean my piggy bank is already sweating 😅). And to make matters more challenging, Ermias is just too sweet to let me buy it on my own. He’s convinced that it’s too much of an expense for just one person. Plus, with his huge heart, he would never splurge on something like this for himself. That’s why I’m turning to you for help!

Ermias always puts others first, and I want to give back and make him feel as loved and appreciated as he makes everyone else feel. So, instead of getting him another pair of socks (he’s got plenty, trust me), let’s pool together and help me make his dream come true. No matter whether you chip in a little bit or with a lot, your contribution will mean the world to us both. Let’s show Ermias just how loved and cherished he is, not just by me, but by all of us! 🥰
