Hello,
On Sunday afternoon, I was contacted by a friend who needed the number of a veterinary clinic open on Sundays in Sassari because she had been called to attend to a cat that had been hit by a car.
My friend rushed over and took the cat to the clinic, fortunately it was not fatally injured.
At the clinic, they performed an X-ray, ultrasound scan and tests, and administered initial treatment.
The cat, Alvin, suffered a serious injury, with a fractured jaw and the need for surgery on his palate.
Fortunately, no abdominal organs or limbs were injured.
The cat will have to remain in hospital as he needs a feeding tube.
Alvin is about a year old and is showing a great will to live.
Unfortunately, the costs are very high, and my friend needs help to cover them. We are talking about approximately £850, and although she rushed to help the cat, she cannot afford such a large expense.
Even a couple of euros could be a great help 🙏
