Hello,
My name's Julie, I'm 24 and I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for three years. His ultimate dream is to move to Japan, as many people do. He didn't have an easy childhood: his stepfather was an alcoholic and took a lot of drugs. As a result, he spent most of his time in his bedroom, watching anime and playing video games, with his headphones on so he couldn't hear the arguments at home. He also recently lost his cat, who was 20, to a pulmonary embolism.
We both work full time, but life has become so expensive that travelling is now a luxury that few people can afford without making sacrifices. For Christmas, I had intended to give her the plane tickets, but with all the recent expenses, this project has unfortunately fallen through.
