They have been married for 60 years.

On January 12, 2025 their home burned down before their eyes in less than 40 minutes. They lost everything.

Due to weather conditions, snow drifts and narrow, steep road without any sanding, fire trucks were not able to reach and extinguish the fire. Neighbours, volunteers and firemen walked through the snow drifts and helped Marushka and Todor to survive. Thank you Lord!

The elderly couple lived in this house for 35 years. Marushka loved her garden and both of them enjoyed the fresh air and the sun. Now there are only ruins left of their home.

They wish to go back. Back to the place they know, with same neighbours, friends and start over.

We need your help! To fulfill their wish and make them happy we need you!

The Pancharevo District Municipality will provide a prefabricated living container home. Your precious donations will be used to drill a fresh water source - well / drilling (the existing one dried up and cannot supply water anymore), as well as, to buy hydrophore system and equipment for the container.
