Who are we?

The Juliett Divas is a dance company formed in 2020. We currently consist of 19 members, ladies aged 40-60 years old (and even over 70!), with different dance skills from beginner to professional competition dancer, which is a curiosity of its kind in Hungary. Our aim is to show and promote that it is possible to be fit, youthful and not least a woman at this age. In the last four years our team has achieved many outstanding results in national and international competitions.

Our most significant achievements are:

1. gold medals and special awards at competitions of the Hungarian Fashion and Sports Dance Federation (2023, 2024)

2. gold medals and special awards in competitions of the Hungarian Visual Dance Sports Association (2022, 2023, 2024)

3. gold medals and special awards at Talent of Stage competitions (2024)

3. Abigél National Dance Art Festival gold medals and prizes (2021, 2022)

4. silver and gold medals at the V4 Dance Cup international competition (2022)

5. 1st prizes and special awards at the Zugló Dance Festival (2020)

Thanks to our outstanding performance, this year we qualified for the Latin Show World Championships organized by the International Dance Organization (IDO), which will take place in Macedonia from 18-24 November 2024.

This opportunity is a great honour for us, but also a significant financial challenge. To participate in the World Championships, we need funding to cover accommodation, travel and entry fees.

We estimate this to be in the order of 150,000-200,000 forints per person, totalling around 3 million forints.
