Who are we?

The Juliett Divas is a dance group formed in 2020. We currently have 19 members, all women aged 40–60 (and we even have some over 70 among us!), with varying levels of dance ability ranging from beginners to professional competitive dancers, which is quite unique in Hungary. Our aim is to demonstrate and promote the fact that even at this age, it is possible to stay fit, live a youthful life and, last but not least, be a woman. Over the past four years, our team has achieved numerous outstanding results in both domestic and international competitions.

Our most significant achievements:

1. Gold ratings and special prizes at competitions organised by the Hungarian Fashion and Sport Dance Association (2023, 2024)

2. Gold ratings and special prizes at competitions organised by the Hungarian Show Dance Sports Association (2022, 2023, 2024)

3. Gold rating and special prize at the Talent of Stage competition (2024)  

3. Special gold ratings and grand prizes won at the Abigél National Dance Festival (2021, 2022)

4. Silver and gold awards at the V4 Dance Cup international competition (2022)

5. First prizes and special awards at the Zugló Dance Festival (2020)

Thanks to our outstanding performance,we have qualified this yearfor the Latin Show World Championships organised bytheInternational Dance Organization (IDO), whichwill be held in Macedoniafrom 18 to 24 November 2024.

This opportunity is a huge honour for us, but it also presents a significant financial challenge. To take part in the World Championships, we need support to cover accommodation, travel and entry fees. 

According to our calculations, this amounts to between 150,000 and 200,000 forints per person, totalling approximately 3 million forints.
