My name is Darius Tolea, but most people know me by my stage name, "IMD." I’m an 18-year-old artist from Romania, born in Arad on July 20, 2006. I’m a passionate rapper, and my journey in music began in 2019. So far, I’ve created over 70 songs. My older sister, who has been singing since I was a child, played a huge role in inspiring me. I’ve also drawn a lot of inspiration from hip-hop music. By immersing myself in the chronological way to listen to the masterpieces of rap, I developed a deep love for hip-hop culture and dedicated myself to studying it.

I set up my own home studio, where I do everything—writing lyrics, composing melodies, mixing and mastering my tracks, managing marketing and distribution, and even directing my music videos. I’m a completely independent artist. Without any financial support from my parents, I got a job to fund my music.

However, as a student with a small income from part-time work, my ability to invest in my craft is limited. While I’ve managed to build my skills and release music on my own, taking my music to the next level requires more resources than I currently have. That’s why I’m turning to crowdfunding.
