BETTER LIFE FOR RON

Description

Who could resist that gaze? Brief Ron’s story:

• I found Ron and his brother (they were 3-4 days old and still had their umbilical cords) in a park in Kutaisi. I fed them every 3 hours, cleaned the wounds, and helped them with their bowel movements.

• Our landlord didn’t allow us to keep them. We managed to find a temporary home in Samtredia, where he is still staying.

Ron is growing into quite a handsome guy; it brings a tear to the eye. He’s already 5 months old, and it’s clear he will eventually weigh 10-15 kg. He’s as sweet as chocolate and just as brown ❤️

Unfortunately, we are moving out of Kutaisi soon, and we won’t be able to go to Samtredia and be directly involved in eventual adoption process. The foster lady is asking for him to be moved sooner. If no one adopts him by the end of May, we will transfer him to a trusted Lithuanian shelter in Kaunas. The conditions at this shelter are definitely better than in most temporary homes in Georgia.
