Hi everyone!

Due to a benign brain tumour and a brain cyst, I need regular follow-up MRI scans so that my condition can be monitored.My existing inner ear-related symptoms (hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness due to Meniere’s disease) combined with my claustrophobia make it very difficult to undergo the necessary MRI scans.

Due to my claustrophobia, a conventional, enclosed MRI scan is completely out of the question for me, which poses an obstacle to carrying out the necessary medical checks. (I am officially receiving disability benefits, and my options are limited due to my health condition, so I am unable to cover the cost of the necessary MRI scan on my own.)

I therefore require an MRI scan that is performed using an open MRI scanner or under conditions that are more tolerable for me.

My aim is to ensure that the necessary follow-up examinations take place in good time and that my condition can continue to be monitored.

Any support would be a great help in this and would bring me closer to being able to have the scan.
