Hello, I'm Juan Amador, a 22-year-old Cuban who has left his country in search of a dream: to study journalism in Spain and work in freedom. I grew up in a place where words are often silenced, and where telling the truth can have a high cost. But from an early age I knew I wanted to tell those truths, to be the voice of the people.

When I arrived in Spain, I discovered what freedom of the press really means. Here I can dream of being a journalist without fear, but to make that dream come true I need help. The cost of my university studies is a challenge that I cannot overcome alone.
