The purpose of this fundraising is to cover the veterinary expenses of my 9 year old dog Truffle. At the moment, it is impossible for me to cover these expenses as I am on sick leave due to a health problem. Trufa woke up on Wednesday the 7th with a big painful lump under her right eye. We went to the vet and he has a big dental infection. We were able to pay for her consultation and the medicines to fight the infection, but she needs an operation to remove the teeth that are causing the inflammation to get worse.

Here is a breakdown of the approximate costs provided by the vet (these are approximate as some costs are unpredictable until the animal is operated on...)

-Pre-surgical examinations: 151€.

(Including blood tests and electrocardiogram + costs of carrying them out)

-Anesthesia tests + jaw x-ray: 250€ -Extraction: 160€.

-Extraction: 160€ (depends on the number of teeth to be extracted)

-Mouth cleaning (we do not have an estimate yet because it depends on the veterinary assessment once the dog is anaesthetised): ??

-Operating theatre anaesthetist (needed to control the anaesthesia administered and monitor the animal): 240€.

As you can see the costs amount to a total of 801€ without counting the oral cleaning after the extractions of the diseased teeth.... Truffle is currently being treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories to eliminate the infection before any intervention. I can't afford these expenses.... For the moment, I have managed to save 100€, but there is still a lot to collect and the operation must be done as soon as possible to avoid the infection creating an abscess in the eye or even compromising his cardiovascular health. Trufa will be 9 years old in April and we want her to be able to celebrate.

Please, I ask for all possible help from all of us animal lovers to be able to do something as soon as possible 😔. I promise to show the progress of the little one so that all donors can see how she is progressing in her treatment.
