Fuzesabonyi Allatvédő Alapítvány is thrilled to be participating in the Hard Dog Race on September 28th in Hungary! Adoptable and foster dogs will race alongside volunteers, some with their new families, and we believe this event is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness for our mission: finding loving homes for every dog in our care.

We will have 3 teams of 6 volunteers and 6 dogs, and 2 individual racers. All together 20 volunteers and 20 dogs!

Though we don’t have our own kennels, our organization works tirelessly to rescue and rehome dogs with the support of amazing volunteers and foster families. Some of our dogs are currently placed in rented kennels at a shelter near Budapest, but they are all waiting for their forever homes.

By taking part in this race, we hope to show the world that every dog is a good dog, deserving of love and a second chance. To make our participation as impactful as possible, we need your support! We're raising funds to provide t-shirts for our teams to increase visibility, goodies for our hardworking volunteers, and some delicious treats for the dogs.

The expected costs:

T-Shirts: 350 eur

In case we will fundraise more than 350 eur, we will use donated money for dog treats and volunteer snacks for the day of the race.
