Dear Ladies and Gentlemen.

We would like to ask you to support our organisation related to the Polish State, the good image of Poland in the European Union, with the project Polish Day in Brussels 2022-2023 and 2024.

Once again, the subsidy system of the Polish State represented by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has failed, leaving us on our own.

Once again, organisations that have marginalised our activities in the arena of Polonia over the past years have benefited from support for 2024.

Once again, we and the Bar Volunteers did not receive this support, despite the fact that we are building the biggest event for Polonia and Poles in the European Union and have been paying for years with our own private funds as the Board of Help Centre Belgium a.s.b.l..

We built a modern Polish community in Europe, as well as aid, humanitarian and cultural actions.

We carried out powerful humanitarian actions in support of Poland during the Ukraine war crisis, sending €500,000 worth of humanitarian aid to Poland. We supported the City of Warsaw, WOŚP, Caritas Zamość, PCK Mazowiecki Branch, Zustricz Foundations. We have been supporting Polonia in Belgium for years, building civil society.

We have been building from the first the biggest Polish and Polish-American celebration in Europe: Polish Day in Brussels.

We are asking for financial support that will allow us to survive as a NON-PROFIT organisation and to finish our accounts of the Polish Day in Brussels 2023 and 2024 www.polishdayinbrussels.be.

We are the only legal organiser of the event in Belgium, having processed all permits since its inception. We are also personally responsible for all billing, additional costs and legal liability for the event.

There is no other entity with this type of commitment, so we can only rely on your financial support.
