Description
We're two coastal lifeguards from the South West of France , committed every summer to ensuring the safety of everyone on the beaches. Today, we've decided to take this spirit of solidarity further, to the heart of the Moroccan desert, by taking part in the 4L Trophy 2026.
The 4L Trophy is a rally-raid aboard a legendary Renault 4L, reserved for young people aged 18 to 28, with a simple objective: to bring school, sports and medical equipment to the most destitute children in southern Morocco.
Why we're doing it
Over and above the mechanical and human challenge of crossing 6,000 km of roads, tracks and dunes, this project is an extension of our values as lifeguards: mutual aid, commitment and responsibility.
In fact, our 4L will be decked out in the colours of the coastal lifeguards, as a tribute to our commitment on the beaches and to the solidarity we want to foster throughout this adventure.
Why we need your help
This project has a cost, which we can't cover on our own. Every donation will go directly towards :
- finance the preparation of the 4L (purchase, mechanics, safety),
- cover registration and transport costs (petrol, ferry, insurance),
- and above all to enable school and medical supplies to be sent to the children, via the Enfants du Désert association.
By supporting us, you are contributing to a :
- Solidarity: because it provides real help on the ground,
- human: because it is run by two committed volunteers,
- visible: our 4L will carry your values across the desert.
Thank you for your generosity. Thanks to you,
this adventure will not only be ours, but also that of all those who believe that a simple gesture can have a real impact, especially when it is made from the heart.
