Survivor of violence and systemic failure – I need your help for a safe home.

Description:

I am a Norwegian woman in my 30s. I have survived rape, childhood abuse and mental illness. I have fought to be drug-free for over 3 years and have diagnoses such as PTSD, ADHD and bipolar disorder under control.

I'm ready for a new life. I've got a place in school. I have two children that I love. But I don't have a safe place to live.

The municipality has offered me housing in areas where I was previously exposed to violence and abuse. Psychologists, doctors and specialists have documented that these homes are directly dangerous for me. Yet the municipality refuses to help me.

I have therefore had to live in a psychiatric ward for over 6 months – not because I need it, but because there is no safe alternative. I have lost all my belongings after occupation and burglary, and I have lost the opportunity to spend time with my children because I do not have a home.

I am raising money for:

Secure private apartment (deposit and rent)

Bed, clothes, appliances, sofa and necessary furnishings

Legal assistance and support in the fight against the system

The goal is NOK 350,000.
