Michaś is only 6 years old, yet he already has to face something that most of us cannot even imagine.

He suffers from an ultra-rare genetic disease - APLAID autoinflammatory syndrome. This condition causes his immune system to malfunction and attack his own body, triggering inflammatory responses that can destroy healthy tissues and organs. Hospitals have become his second home.

Michaś went through a very severe inflammation of the small blood vessels in his nervous system. This experience has left a huge mark on his health and everyday functioning. He has to relearn how to sit, walk, and eat on his own.

Every day is an enormous challenge for him. Michał urgently needs specialized treatment and intensive rehabilitation, which are his chance to improve his health and regain as much physical ability as possible. It is a long and demanding road that we cannot walk alone.

Our greatest hope lies in consultations at Boston Children's Hospital. The specialists there have extensive experience in treating patients with rare autoinflammatory diseases. However, the cost of treatment in the United States is overwhelming, and we cannot do it without your help.
