A year ago, we returned to Croatia with high hopes and dreams. As a young family with three children, we decided to leave the security of our homeland behind and start a new chapter in our lives. We were motivated by the promise of 200,000 in returnee support, but unfortunately, we never received those funds.

We sold everything we had - our car, which was on credit, our belongings, and our future - to return. But we soon learned that we were not part of the group entitled to the promised funds. Instead of going back, we decided to stay and fight for a better future here.

Our current situation

We currently live with my husband's parents, but with three small children, we all share a small space, which is unsustainable in the long term. With no employment opportunities due to our children not going to kindergarten, we decided to open our own businesses. Although we started working, our earnings are not enough to cover the debts we had to take on to start over. Banks are not granting us loans because we are craftsmen, and our options are limited.

Why do we need your help?

Now that the children have started kindergarten, we have the opportunity to work harder and build a future, but we need support to get back on our feet. Your donation will help us:
