After more than two years, the comic book OraMai is ready! Or almost

The story of OraMai begins in the late summer of 2023, from a dozen or so plates made by blowing ink onto paper. These plates depict seemingly abstract forms that evoke a world as tangible as it is difficult to grasp, dense with an organic, fertile calm.

In the course of the story, Silvespro, Brumaviola, the Volcano Exiles and the three Cartapestai attempt to legitimise these forms through the most diverse practices: papier-mâché, dialectics, stubbornness, magic. In the shadows, Master of the Raven's Guild attempts to hold the reins of history through drawing.

An escape manual from aesthetic eschatology in 260 pages.

It speaks of external happenings, logical aesthetics: themes that are a constant breath on the ancient embers of dialogue. It is the biggest publication I have ever planned, so far.

Why is OraMai almost ready?

As you can imagine, I do not have the funds to print a satisfactory print run, necessary to ensure that the single cost of OraMai does not rise out of all proportion. With the dedication typical of projects you care about, I have set up a fund that will allow the publication of a limited number of copies, for the remainder I have decided to set up this pre-order. You can find various ways to support the project, which will be posted on this platform as we go along. Those who pre-order their copy will receive OraMai at a lower cost than the final cost.

In January 2026, upon completion, OraMai will go to press, and items will be sent individually to each person who has contributed. The remaining copies will start their journey through bookshops, fairs, backpacks and banquets!
