Emergency 

Hello everyone!

I am writing this in the hope that, as fellow human beings, we can help one another in times of need. I would like to organise a fundraiser to help someone who holds a very special place in my heart. 

In short, this person is smart, funny, incredibly caring, etc., but with various medical conditions, they have fallen between the cracks in our harsh society. 

They have extensive physical difficulties; for example, they need surgery on both hips and their back, but are receiving no help from anywhere. So at the moment, there are no adaptations at all and, moreover, no car, so they are confined to their home as they cannot walk more than a few metres without excruciating pain. 

Some practical issues that need to be addressed immediately.

The wiring needs to be re-routed, as at the moment the electricity bills are running up to 30,000 SEK every other month. This has led to the electricity being cut off. The electricity companies deny responsibility and consider this not to be their problem. Not only that, but the electricity company is demanding

81,000 SEK and an additional 15,000 SEK deposit to have the power reconnected. We are talking about a person on disability pension who is barely making ends meet each month. 

Following a water leak last winter, there are several issues that need to be addressed. Electricians and plumbers have already been contacted, but funds are needed to draw up a plan for this extensive work. 

This person has very close family who, following threats and exposure to serious crime, have been forced to leave their home and all their belongings. The situation is absolutely urgent, and I/we are asking all kind-hearted people out there for whatever help they can provide.
