My name is Oporanu Cristina Daniela and I am the mother of a 12-year-old boy from Timisoara, a real fighter.

Three years ago, my son was diagnosed with medulloblastoma (malignant brain tumour) and underwent surgery, chemotherapy and proton therapy. The treatment saved his life but left him with significant neurological damage.

Today she has a severe disability certificate and undergoes daily rehabilitation therapies: gait, posture, balance, sensory stimulation and home schooling.

Despite the difficulties, she works with perseverance and a smile on her face.

An important step for his progress would be dolphin therapy, internationally recognised for its benefits in the recovery of children with neurological disorders - improving motor coordination, attention, self-confidence and emotional state.

Unfortunately, the costs of this programme are beyond the means of our family/single mother🫣
