🌿 ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Dear friends, musicians and lovers of handpan music, we are pleased to invite you to the new edition of our favorite Handpan festival "Svarog's Wheel" which will take place from 31.7. to 3.8. in the magical ambiance of Antoničin mlin by the Žrnovnica River. Over the years, the festival has grown as a joint journey of musicians, volunteers and visitors from all over the world. After a year of break and rest, we are back in action! This is the 5th year of the festival's development , which began with enthusiasm and love for the handpan, and today is developing into an international gathering of artists, educators and audiences. Our intention is to spread our love through music and passion for the handpan instrument, to bring together the local and international community and to create a completely new and unique cultural content in this region, connecting our local tradition with family and friendly gatherings in a natural environment with music that caresses the soul. Our desire is to create a space, an oasis of peace, where people can come to relax, socialize, share knowledge and skills, meet like-minded people, and enjoy nature and music.

Handpan Festival Croatia "Svarog's Wheel" was born from a simple idea — creating a space where music, nature and people meet without borders.

Everything we do still has the same foundation:

togetherness, creativity, nature, music and freedom of expression.

🌱 Why crowdfunding?

The festival is created independently and with minimal commercialization.

In previous years, we invested our own funds, partially covered by ticket sales, but we covered a significant portion of the costs ourselves. This exhausted us financially, and for this reason we had to pause for a year to recover and continue with our vision, which we share with joy and happiness.

We looked at various options and agreed to take a new path and create this wonderful story together with you.

Our long-term desire is to:

• the festival remains open and accessible
• entrance is symbolic or by donation
• music and workshops are available to a wider audience
• we organize more events with similar content

That is why the organization of a large multi-day international festival is not financially sustainable without joint support.

This campaign allows the festival to exist in its basic form , and everything above that enables its growth and quality.

💰 Crowdfunding goals🎯 Minimum goal: €11,500

This covers the basic implementation of the festival:

Technical part:

• Rental of musical equipment, speakers and microphones
• Stage material

Contractor costs:

• performer's fees
• contractor accommodation
• contractor travel expenses
• fee for sound engineer and technician
• food for performers

Other staff costs:

• photographer's fee
• videographer's fee
• fee for the designer (visual identity of the festival)
• food for volunteers

Space costs:

• Space maintenance costs (park landscaping, lawn maintenance after the event)
• Overhead costs - electricity and water
• Emptying and cleaning the septic tank during the event.
• Ensuring hygienic conditions
• Arrangement of space with festival props

Administrative costs, legal issues:

• ZAMP - costs for artist copyrights
• other expenses

Marketing:

• Poster printing
• Print flyer
• Online promotion
• Audio and video production before and after the festival
• Strengthening visual identity and presence

Unforeseen costs:

• WHAT ELSE NOW?!?!?!

👉 If we reach this goal — We are at positive zero and relieved of financial costs.

🌟 Development goal: €14,500

Anything above the minimum goal allows:

• Increasing the quality of the offer
• Festival development
• Sustainability of the team and organization
• Development of future events during the year and additional content
• Improvement of infrastructure and space
• Development of video and audio materials
• Investments in the future
• Deeper connection to the local handpan community
• Deeper connection with the international handpan community
• Development of educational programs and increasing the availability of the handpan instrument to the general public
• Starting a handpan school in Žrnovnica
• Fees and honoraria for time invested in the organization

👉 This is the "fuel" that allows the festival to grow, but also a great motivation for us to continue our work.

Campaign proposal:

When we would charge an entrance fee, we established the following values...

Festival ticket price: 165 euros

One-day ticket price: 45 euros

Donations in these amounts are very significant to us, and depending on the outcome of the campaign, there is a possibility that we will reward donors with more tickets and surprise gifts in order to maintain balance and be as fair as possible to everyone.

📊 Depending on the success of the crowdfunding campaign...

The final ticket price on the day of the event will depend on how much we manage to raise through crowdfunding.

Assessment:

• if we raise €7,500 → daily ticket will be around €30
• if we raise €9,000 → the daily ticket will be around €20
• if we raise €11,500 → admission will be free for everyone, on voluntary donations

👉 The maximum price of a daily ticket will not exceed €45.

👉 Daily ticket includes:

• stay in the festival park during the day
• evening concert program

Our goal is to make the festival as open, accessible and accessible to as many people as possible.

🏕️ IMPORTANT (outside crowdfunding budget)

• 🏕️ Camping is possible, but limited, with mandatory registration and a separate charge.
• Capacity: 50 tents
