🇷🇴 Help us represent Romania at the 2026 Roundnet World Championships

From 2 to 6 September 2026, 24 Romanian athletes (12 girls and 12 boys) will represent Romania at the Roundnet World Championships in Paris, where national teams from 37 countries will compete.

Romania is not setting off without any experience. At the last World Championship, in 2024, the women’s team finished 13th and the men’s team 18th. This year, we are returning with a larger, better-prepared team and a serious ambition to take Romania as high as possible in the world rankings.

Taking part in a competition of this calibre involves significant costs for transport, accommodation, entry fees, equipment and logistics. At present, the majority of these costs are borne directly by the athletes, as roundnet in Romania does not yet benefit from the support of a sports federation or dedicated institutional funding.

That is why we are appealing to our community and to everyone who believes in Romanian sport. The funds raised through this campaign will be used exclusively to cover the costs of the Romanian team’s participation in the World Championships.

Any donation, regardless of the amount, reduces the financial burden on the athletes and helps us to fly the Romanian flag on one of the most important stages in world roundnet.
