Adora is our beautiful little girl who turned two in the first month of 2025, and is facing serious health challenges. Due to neurological difficulties and suspected epilepsy, she needs constant monitoring, additional tests and therapy to have the opportunity for a healthier and happier life.

Adora was born 2 months prematurely in a stressful birth, after which she spent a month alone in the intensive care unit, and another month in the hospital after that. The bleeding in the brain left its consequences in the form of PVL III, which in Adora affects delays in all developmental areas, with multiple difficulties present - motor, sensory, musculoskeletal. In simple terms, at the age of two, Adora does not sit independently, does not talk, does not grasp, does not hold, does not walk - she has never crawled.

She is included in the early intervention program, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration. We, as her family, struggle every day to provide her with the best possible care, but the costs are extremely high. The father is employed, the mother is with Adora 24/7 and is not employed, and in addition to Adora, we also have a 6-year-old son who will soon start the first grade of elementary school. The health situation in our country is such that we have to solve everything privately and pay, the service in the state system is too slow and inadequate, and we have no time to waste. Since we do not have adequate intensive physical therapy available in our area, we are forced to go to Slovenia, 350 km away one way. The price of one week of therapy with accommodation is around 2000 EUR, and Adora goes to therapy 3-4 times a year for 2 weeks.
