A small ray of hope for a family that’s going through a tough time

Sometimes life turns everything upside down – without warning, without a break.

This small, young family is currently at just such a point. What was supposed to be nothing more than a necessary medical procedure turned into a long, gruelling ordeal. Mum had to have an operation, but her recovery took much longer than expected. In the midst of this already difficult period, the next blow struck: she lost her job.

Not because she didn’t want to. Not because she didn’t fight. But because her body simply needed time.

Since then, a lot has changed. Bills kept coming in, costs remained – but the income dried up. The family is currently living on the absolute bare minimum. Every day is a balancing act between hope and worry.

And yet: giving up is not an option.

Because this mum is fighting. Every single day. Despite her illness, which will be with her for the rest of her life. Despite the uncertainty. Despite the fear. She gets up – for her children. For her family. For the future she firmly believes in.

What this family needs now is a glimmer of hope. A chance to catch their breath. A measure of security in a time marked by uncertainty.
