Ten years ago, my brother and I traveled all the way from Lithuania to Uganda to take part in our first volunteering project. To this day, we still maintain a strong relationship with the project founder, Bigirwa Emmanuel Pheonix, and continue supporting him in fulfilling his mission.

Bigirwa Emmanuel Pheonix runs several life-changing projects designed to help vulnerable families overcome extreme poverty and recover from the lasting effects of a long civil war. His mission is simple but powerful: to build hope, restore dignity, and add value to humanity.

Through his work, he provide education, care, and protection for orphans, while also empowering communities with sustainable livelihood projects.

Orphan Education Project

We urgently need support for our orphan education project. We are seeking school fees sponsorship for 35 orphaned children. Each child needs only $25 to return to school, and our total goal is $875. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference and brings hope to a child’s future.

Goat Project

We are also continuing our self-sustaining goats project, which now needs only $450 to be fully completed. Through this project, each caretaker will receive a female goat. Over time, the goats will multiply and help families become more self-reliant, reducing the constant need to ask donors for support with school fees and food.
