Hello dear reader, I’m sure you’re wondering what all this is about… and to be honest, I don’t even know exactly what it is myself…

One thing is certain, though: IF WE ALL MADE A SMALL, SYMBOLIC GESTURE TO HELP OUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS, THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE...

And here I am, asking for help from all of you strangers...

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF: I’m a 28-year-old man from Sicily, I’ve been living in Rome for four years, and for the past couple of years I’ve started losing my hair very rapidly, and this has triggered a kind of revulsion in me towards myself and my physical appearance (which isn’t unattractive), to the point where I no longer want to look in the mirror or spend my days envying the hair of all my peers...

As alopecia is very common in men, many people manage to live with it without any problems, and I have infinite respect for them; UNFORTUNATELY, however, this is not my case... (otherwise I wouldn’t be here writing and humiliating myself)

Over this period, I have THOUGHT LONG AND HARD ABOUT IT, eventually coming to the conclusion that I want to undergo a HAIR TRANSPLANT in TURKEY (currently one of the best destinations for LOW-COST transplants).

Unfortunately, for now, DESPITE SPENDING MY DAYS WORKING AND STUDYING, I can’t manage to put anything aside at the end of the month, as with my salary

(AS A WEIGHT ROOM INSTRUCTOR), I’m already lucky if I can pay the bills and do the shopping... (it’s a shame to say, but rather than living, I’m just scraping by at the moment...)

This problem, moreover, affects not only my mental well-being but also my professional life, as although I take physical care of my body to present a good image to clients, I am constantly hindered and limited by my appearance as a 40-year-old with a receding hairline, which ruins everything...

MORE SPECIFICALLY: the DHI procedure has a total cost of around €1,500 (depending on the clinic; procedures in Turkey range from €1,500 to €4,000), to which air travel costs (around €400–500) would need to be added. I would generally be able to cover the latter myself...
