Hello everyone,
I am reaching out to you with a request for help in covering the costs of nursing home care for my grandmother.
My grandmother, Kaja, is 86 years old. In addition to other age-related health issues, she has been diagnosed with dementia and requires 24-hour care.
She has been living in a nursing home for the past year and a half. Unfortunately, the monthly cost has increased from the initial €800 to €1.000. Although she is still classified in one of the more affordable care categories, as her dementia progresses, the cost of care will continue to increase.
She is currently residing in a nursing home in Daruvar, Croatia. We are still waiting for a place in a state-run nursing home, which would be somewhat more affordable, but the waiting lists are extremely long.
If you are able to donate €1–€2, or any amount you can afford, it would mean a great deal to our family and would greatly help us cover the costs of her care.
