WHAT I’M GOING TO DO: In 2026 [1–30 June], I’ll be driving my Audi through 30 towns in Lithuania. The aim: to visit 80+ elderly people living alone.

3000KM ROUTE: Vilnius, Trakai, Alytus, Druskininkai, Marijampolė, Kaunas, Jonava, Kėdainiai, Panevėžys, Rokiškis, Zarasai, Utena, Molėtai, Ignalina, Visaginas, Švenčionys, Šiauliai, Radviliškis, Kelmė, Telšiai, Mažeikiai, Plungė, Kretinga, Palanga, Klaipėda, Šilutė, Tauragė, Jurbarkas, Raseiniai, Anykščiai, Ukmergė and back to Vilnius.

WHAT I BRING FOR EACH ELDERLY PERSON:

1. A basket of food and medicines worth €15

2. 1 hour of my time: I’ll fix a tap, change a light bulb, or give some advice over the phone

3. Most importantly – a chat. Many of them haven’t had a visitor for weeks
