Hello everyone,

My name is Cyrille and I'm 40 years old. I have a wife, a son and in a few months' time a daughter.

I have an average income and work in a good company.

The reason I'm making a fundraising request today is that I'm trying to find a solution to my big financial problem. I've put myself in a terribly complicated situation. I'm ashamed of it and it's not the most glorious explanation I'm going to give you, but I'd rather be frank with you about why I'm making this request.

I've found it hard to admit, but I have an addiction to sports betting and I'm trying to cure it by going into therapy.

I've lost more than €50,000 because of this problem and I've had to take out loans to get out of it, but I can't pay them back any more. I'm looking for a solution to my problems, which are getting worse every day. I sleep very badly, I think about it all the time, it's like a never-ending loop.

I'm writing to you for a bit of help and if I'm asking you, it's really because I've run out of options. Anything you can give me would be a blessing.

I blame myself so much because I'm training with my family and I don't want to put them through my mistakes. I just want to get it over with.
