Description

Hello. I urgently need help for my children – we are in a difficult financial situation! I am a mother of two children, aged 7 and 2. I am raising them on my own. My older son is in Year 1 at school. The younger one is at home with me because he is only 2 years old. My husband works in Germany.Because of this, exactly one year ago, on 9 April 2024, my maternity allowance and child benefit were stopped, on the grounds that I cannot claim them in Slovakia whilst my husband works in Germany, that I need to sort it out there, and that for the time being he must support us until it is sorted out.Well, my husband claimed last year that he’d submitted an application, but it’s been a year and nothing’s happened, and when I ask him what stage the application’s at, he doesn’t answer – he just makes excuses. He’s lying to me completely. He won’t even show me the paperwork he receives regarding the benefits, and on top of that, the health insurance company told me that our card isn’t valid in Slovakia and that we have to be registered under him in Germany. So I’ve had a debt with the health insurance company ever since they stopped my maternity pay, and they claimed at the office that it didn’t need to be paid because Germany would pay it once the paperwork was sorted. But of course, nothing has been sorted out yet, and now the health insurance company is handing the debt over to a debt collector to recover it from me. And since January, my husband has completely abandoned us.He has stopped supporting us, doesn’t send any money, doesn’t answer the phone, doesn’t respond to messages at all, shows no interest in the children whatsoever, and I am completely without income. We’re just scraping by; I borrow money so the little one has something to eat. And the debt just keeps growing. We’re living in a rented flat which isn’t being paid for either, and it’s only a miracle we haven’t been evicted because the landlord has allowed us to stay in the flat until I sort things out.I don’t even know exactly where my husband is living in Germany or if he’s actually working there; I just don’t know. And I’m completely helpless – I don’t know how to get a divorce or take it to court without any money.I can’t sort anything out in Slovakia at all because everywhere they say everything has to be done in Germany since he works there – I don’t even understand why the law is like that, because I live in Slovakia with the children and have never been to Germany.I can’t even go to work at the moment; no one will take me on with a baby, and I don’t know where to leave him because there’s no one to look after him, and I don’t have the money for a nursery because I can’t even afford food.I don’t know how to start over; I’m completely helpless. I’m just asking for help. I’m begging you from the bottom of my heart to help me get out of this. Help me so that I can get a divorce and sort everything out in court. Please help me with even a small amount so that I can find somewhere to live with my children without fear of being evicted; please help me so that I can feed my child.I’m begging you, kind people, for at least a small amount to account LT553250088414754701.... It’s a Revolut account. I have Revolut for this reason because the bailiff hasn’t got his hands on it yet, unlike my other Slovak accounts.I beg you, please help me get out of this.🙏🙏🙏🙏
