Hello my lovely people. I'm helping my friend Sayed in achieving his academic goals.

Sayed is a graduate of the University of Khartoum, Sudan, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Archaeology. I have met Sayed in 2017 in Hamadab, where we both worked for an Archaeological project at the time. We became friends and we stayed in touch ever since. Sayed had dreams of advancing his education, but those plans were tragically disrupted when war broke out in Sudan.

Earlier this year, Sayed and his wife fled their home in Al-Jazeera State to River Nile State. Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militias launched a attack on his village Hillat Abass, forcing them like many other families to flee out of their homes. Their journey to safety was risky, on his way out he got threatened by militias with weapons to his face. After enduring many months of uncertainty, he decided to leave everything behind and seek refuge in Egypt. They arrived in Egypt with nothing, struggling to make ends meet.

Despite these immense challenges, Sayed his resilience and dedication to his field remains strong and is now in process to obtain refugee in Europe or Canada. He is very determined to achieve his academic goals and is therefore looking out for scholarships. If you know of any relevant tip, it would be very much appreciated.

Currently, Sayed and his wife are lacking the means to cover her plane tickets, visa fees, and initial living costs until he finds a scholarship. I kindly ask for your support in helping Sayed achieve his dream of furthering his education. He is passionate about Archaeology and Heritage and is committed to using his knowledge to make a positive impact in his field, support his family, and contribute to his country’s future.
