I have cancer. Last year, I was diagnosed with this terrible disease. I feel alone in this battle. I have undergone two operations, the last one on 31 July 2025.I had a standard total hysterectomy with 34 stitches. This was followed by brachytherapy sessions, which affected me greatly. Now, on top of having suffered from chronic depression for a very long time—which I believe has worsened—I have major problems with my knees, having been diagnosed with bilateral osteoarthritis.I am in pain. I lose my balance. Unfortunately, I have to cope on my own. I am completely dependent on Pampers, which cost me a great deal each month. Plus the monthly medication. Only a very small portion is reimbursed.Otherwise, I have to buy them myself as I have other conditions too: an ulcer, thyroid problems, osteoarthritis of the knees, chronic constipation, and medical tests that I mostly have to pay for myself – scans, etc. I am on disability pension with a minimal income and can no longer cope with the expenses, especially as I also have to follow a strict diet.
