Bringing a Wild BeeHive to Milk’n’Honey 🐝

Bringing a Wild BeeHive to Milk’n’Honey 🐝

Description

The dream of having a real BeeHive at Milk’n’Honey has lived with us since the very conception of this project, over 4 years ago.

A living hive.

 Bee wisdom within reach.

The possibility to sit quietly beneath a tree and meditate close to the sacred hum of collective life.

For us, bees carry ancient medicine. They embody cooperation, attunement, devotion to the whole, and a kind of collective intelligence humanity deeply longs to remember.

And now... this dream can finally become real.

Our venue has given us the green light to create a true BeeHive on the land - a home for wild honey bees at Milk’n’Honey.

This spring, we also found a beautiful craftsman in Poland who creates traditional BeeHive Logs by hand from tree trunks, using an ancient method that can last for generations. He is now preparing one especially for our Festival land.

And this is where we invite you into the dream 🐝

May and June are the months when a hive naturally splits: the old queen leaves with part of her bees to seek a new home.

We wish to create exactly such a home for them.

The hive will be placed high in the forest so the bees can live peacefully and undisturbed, while we can still feel their presence beneath the trees - learning from them, listening, remembering.

This project was not included in our Festival budget, but it feels too meaningful not to bring into existence. We have already covered the deposit ourselves to begin the creation process.

Now we are asking the hive for support 💛

Cost of creating the BeeHive:

  • 450€ — handcrafted traditional BeeHive Log
  • 50€ — transport to the Festival land

There is also a little mystery woven into this project...

The bees may arrive this year.

Or next year.

Or years from now.

But these traditional hives can last over 100 years.

So this is not only something for this edition of Milk’n’Honey — it is a long-term offering to the land, to the bees, and to the future of the Festival itself.

No honey will be taken from them.

No interference.

Only protection, respect, and coexistence.

If this vision touches your heart, we would be deeply grateful for your support in helping us create a sanctuary for wild bees at Milk’n’Honey.

Maybe, together, we can build not only a Festival...

but a living prayer for humanity to learn the ways of coherence and collective flow.

With love & devotion,

Milk’n’Honey Team 2026
