My name is Tim, I am 28 years old and I am from Slovenia. Currently I am going through one of the most difficult periods of my life. Last year we were hit by catastrophic floods which caused severe damage to our home, which is over 100 years old. When we started the renovation, we quickly realised that the house is not suitable for simple renovation, but would require a complete reconstruction. Really old houses often bring many unexpected problems that are difficult to predict, but in this case we will have to take care of everything - from the foundation to the roof.

Unfortunately, I have an existing loan of 20.000 EUR, which I am having difficulty repaying, and this is an additional burden in this difficult situation. Also my girlfriend and I found out that we are expecting a baby for which I am so happy about it but at the same time that brings additional responsibility and the desire to provide him with a safe and healthy home.

Now I have discovered this platform and decided to ask you for help. In total, I want to raise 30.000 EUR, which will cover:

• 20.000 EUR to pay off my existing loan so I can start a new beginning without any additional financial burden
• 10.000 EUR for a building permit and documentation so we can start the urgent reconstruction of our 100 years old house

Once we have all the necessary paperwork in place, I can apply for housing loan that will allow us to survive and build a safe home for our child.
