My passion is the hotel business, I love entertaining and creating a comfortable space for my customers. I believe that sleep is extremely important and that it's not easy to change beds, so my wish is to create a comfortable and friendly space that makes you want to sleep well and come back to my hotel.

A year ago, I decided to invest in a hotel and renovate it. It's located in Reims, a city with a strong reputation, particularly for its champagne production.

There are 40 rooms, but they're all old and have insulation problems. The idea would be to carry out work to promote eco-energy (insulating doors, installing heat pumps for better energy management).

The reception area needs to be fitted out and reworked, with more contemporary furniture that's visually more comfortable, and a co-working area created... The breakfast area also needs to be fitted out with less outdated furniture, I'm planning to buy some coloured benches and refresh this area by painting it in light tones, and also return the light fittings (brighter, because it's an area that lacks light - there aren't enough large windows...).

I also need to create a seminar room area to attract business groups (this area needs painting, some bay windows need insulating, Japanese panel curtains and a carpet for a cosy area).

And finally, the outside area also needs a complete refresh and partitions all around the hotel ... fences would do the trick to demarcate a smoking area and a non-smoking area and repaint the 40 façades, the colour of which needs to be reviewed.

I estimate the total cost of the work at €100,000.

but I'd like to raise around €40,000.

I'm passionate about my work, I'm sensitive to welcoming customers and I'm also sensitive to their well-being, especially in a hotel where our duty is to recreate a sleeping area that's "just like home" - comfort is a must! Service too.

I love my job but, unfortunately, I'm short of funds - the banks have already lent me money for the electrical part, which needed to be completely redone. It's a lot of work, I'm aware of that, but I'm not going to give up and I'm highly motivated.
