Our charity fund Visability, with the support of the European Sisters charity group Sadaqa Jariya, has received a unique opportunity to become part of the Gaza aid project! As you all well know, the situation in Gaza is extremely difficult. Almost the entire Gaza Strip lies in ruins. Poverty and hunger are spreading rapidly. Unfortunately, in the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip, humanitarian aid is severely hindered, if at all possible. Internal resources are dwindling, especially in the northern sector. Even with money, people cannot buy food, and there are reports of infants, children, and adults dying from extreme starvation. Humanitarian aid is not allowed to reach the starving, and whatever does get through is so little that it cannot feed everyone, not even a small number of them. In the North of Gaza, in Gaza City, 800,000 remaining inhabitants cannot find flour, rice, baby food, and many other things, even with money. In the central part of the sector, there are fewer and fewer products, and they are very expensive! People have lost not only relatives, homes, and property! They have no sources of income left. The prices for tents have skyrocketed, and they are simply unavailable. People build structures resembling makeshift shelters covered with film or are forced to stay outdoors. There is a lack of tents for refugees. Children and adults lack clothing and footwear. There is no water to wash, nor is there clean drinking water. There is no rice, flour, or baby formula. We do not transport food to Gaza, understanding that it is very difficult, if at all possible. We bring money into Gaza, and there, our trusted individuals organize food distribution. In Deir al-Balah, this is entrusted to departments at mosques involved in food distribution to those in need. Such points are called Sheltter.
